Health from orbit
How research in space enables new therapies, biomaterials and regenerative medicine on Earth.
Smart Rebel Longevity Day · Monday, 26 October 2026 · Frankfurt · Part of the Smart Rebel Convention
For medicine, space is not a symbol. It is a laboratory.
In weightlessness, protein crystals grow more precisely. Cells and tissue are easier to culture. Printed organ structures don't collapse, because no gravity pulls at them. What is researched up there lands down here in operating theatres, practices and pharmacies.
The Longevity Day brings together in a single day what normally doesn't talk to each other: basic research, practising doctors, users, companies and everyone who simply wants to know what's true.
Why this day is different
Longevity is much talked about and rarely backed up. Between cutting-edge research and what actually reaches people, there is a gap.
We are not closing it with yet another specialist congress. We put the players at one table and let them disagree in public.
No closed circle. If you have something to contribute, you get room here.
The day
What science knows.
Bioprinting on the ISS, stem cell behaviour in microgravity, findings from the NASA Twins Study on ageing-like changes and subsequent regeneration.
What actually reaches the consultation room.
Doctors, clinics, professional bodies.
What people already do today, and what holds up.
Companies, diagnostics, nutrition, prevention.
Cooking together. No stage, no hierarchy.
The conversations that were not possible during the day.
Get involved
You research, treat or build something in this field? The Longevity Day has open slots for contributions, stands and conversations. Write to us and tell us what you want to show.
You simply want to understand what's true? The day is not a specialist congress. It is built for people who have a question.
And on 31 October
At the International Space Assembly at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Longevity returns: with its own area in the exhibition, right where spaceflight, science and industry come together.
Because the organs come from space.
